The experience of volunteering in Uganda or Kenya offers the opportunity to partner shoulder-to-shoulder in the incredible work that is being done by the AOET staff every day of the year. You can learn a great deal about how AOET effectively empowers their community, but perhaps more significantly, you can partner with them in specific tangible projects. It is a chance to reach out with love and compassion to the people of Africa, to build lasting relationships, and to be an incredible encouragement just by showing up.

Africa Staff-Identified Projects

AOET~USA responds to the needs as determined by AOET~Africa and together project options are identified. This ensures that our visitors are actually helping the organization where the help is most needed. Projects can include:

• camps for children
• business training for women’s groups
• medical work
• construction and painting
• home visits with sponsored children

 AOET~USA also coordinates the team logistics and helps prepare teams for the best possible experience.

Simply put, you will be changed. Africa does that to you. You will also be stretched and undoubtedly grow through your direct experience with the sights, sounds and smells of Africa.
