For a non-profit, the easiest thing for us to say is “yes.” Yes we can do that, or yes we can help there. The reality is that saying yes too often spreads an organization’s resources and mission very thin. At the beginning of this year, AOET~USA went through a time of refocus and reorganization so as to better achieve our original mission of educating children in Uganda.
In order to ensure our success and that as many dollars as possible reach our sponsored children in Uganda, our Board of Directors is introducing a campaign to raise vital funds necessary to keep AOET healthy and strong.

Collectively, our board members have committed to match ALL non-sponsorship contributions made up to $22,000 ending on June 30th. These funds will be used for things like day-to-day office administration, staff travel to Uganda, and marketing to further awareness about the mission of AOET.
In previous years, we’ve raised support over the summer for our annual Birthday Bash - a massive birthday party for our sponsored children in Uganda. Due to the close timing, we are going to contribute 25% of donations to this campaign for the 2013 summer Birthday Bash event.
